Caleb Frank Sackett, a farmer, son of George File Sackett and Arabella Leans, was born in Cootamundra, New South Wales, AustraliaG, in 1896.1,2 He died in Young, New South WalesG, in 1973.3 He married first in Bulli, New South WalesG, in 1922, Minnie Morcom Nicholls.4 He married second in Kempsey, New South WalesG, in 1954, Queenie Ella B Nelson.3
     Caleb Sackett served in the First World War, enlisting on 1 February in the 56th Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force. He was wounded in 1918.5,6
