Harvey B Sackett, son of Lieutenant Martin Sacket and Miriam Bancroft, was born in Plymouth, Chenango County, New York StateG, on 3 October 1816.1,2 He died aged 77 on 23 January 1894.1 He married on 28 December 1847, Lucy Brooks, daughter of Clytus Brooks and Pamela Preston.1
     In 1855 Harvey was living in PlymouthG and was recorded in the census as Harvey B Sackett, a farmer, aged 37. Living with him were his wife Lucy, 31, and their children, Pamela, 5, and Francelia, aged one.3
