Henrietta Sackett, daughter of Lieutenant Martin Sacket and Miriam Bancroft, was born in New York StateG on 4 November 1811.1,2 She died aged 86 on 25 June 1898.1 She married on 24 February 1884, John Bennett.1
     In 1850 Henrietta was living in PlymouthG in the household of her parents Martin and Miriam, and was recorded in the census as Henryett Sackett, aged 38 and born in New York.3
     In 1860 she was living in PlymouthG in the household of her parents Martin and Miriam, and was recorded as Henrietta Sackett, aged 48, described as a servant.4

1105. Henrietta Sackett, 1811–1898, daughter of (500) Lieut. Martin and Miriam Bancroft Sackett, was married, Feb. 24, 1884, to John Bennett, of Plymouth, N. Y. It is not often that a woman remains single until she is 70 years of age and then marries. We are not informed as to the circumstances leading to this unusual event, or the age of the bridegroom.
