Royal Sacket, son of Pliny Sacket and Elisabeth Kellogg, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 9 August 1784.1,2,3 He died aged 74 on 5 April 1859.3 He married on 25 August 1808, Eunice Hastings.2 Eunice was born in ConnecticutG on 23 April 17892,4 and died aged 69 on 30 November 1858.3
     In 1850 Royal was living at Southwick, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded in the census as Royal Sackett, a farmer, aged 67, and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Eunice, 61, and their granddaughter Francene Sackett, aged five.5
