Richard Donald Sackett, son of William Wallace Sackett and Edith Luella Campbell, was born in Cedaredge, Delta County, ColoradoG, on 22 March 1903. He died in Sheridan, WyomingG, on 26 May 1967 and was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Big Horn, Sheridan County, WyomingG. He married Gladys C Condit, daughter of Leonidas Rudolphus Condit and Edna Josephine Ferris. Gladys was born in Barnum, Johnson County, WyomingG, on 28 September 1904. She died in Sheridan, WyomingG, on 26 April 1995 and was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Big Horn, Sheridan County, WyomingG.
     In 1940 Richard was living at Mt View Boulevard, Rawlins, Carbon County, WyomingG, and was recorded in the census as Richard D Sackett, a road construction patrolman, head of household, aged 37. Living with him were his wife Gladys, 35, and their son Mark, aged one.1
