Henry Gleason, son of Edwin Gleason and Lucretia Sackett, was born in Chautauqua County, New York StateG, on 10 August 1836.1,2 He died aged about 24 in 1861 and was buried at Wild Rose Cemetery, North Harmony, Chautauqua CountyG.3 He married Matilda J Oneburg.2
     In 1850 Henry was living in Harmony, Chautauqua CountyG, in the household of his parents Edwin and Lucretia, and was recorded in the census as Henry Gleason, aged 14.4
     In 1855 he was living in HarmonyG in the household of his parents Edwin and Lucretia, and was recorded as Henry Gleason, aged 18 and born in Chautauqua County.5
     In 1860 he was living in HarmonyG in the household of his parents Edwin and Lucretia, and was recorded as Henry Gleason, a farmer, aged 23. His wife Matilda, 21, and their children, Mary, 2, and Edward, aged six months, were living with him.6
