Richard D Sackett, son of Richard Henry Sackett and Mary Ellen Bosley, was born in IndianaG on 9 July 1878.1 He died aged 31 in Manton, Wexford County, MichiganG, on 15 December 1909 and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, MantonG.2,3 At the time of his death, from bronchial hemorrhage, Richard was a day laborer in a factory.
     In 1880 Richard was living in Westchester, Porter County, IndianaG, in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Richard Sackett, aged one and born in Indiana.4
