Stella A Sackett, daughter of Charles Edgar Sackett and Amelia Bell, was born in ConnecticutG in about 1891.1 She married Charles O Roberts.1 Charles was born in ConnecticutG in about 1884.1
     In 1905 Stella was living in Rye, Westchester County, New York StateG, in the household of her parents Charles and Amelia, and was recorded in the census as Stella Sackett, aged 14.2
     In 1910 she was living at Willett Avenue, RyeG, in the household of her parents Charles and Amelia, and was recorded as Stella A Sackett, a typist in a shirt factory, aged 19.3
     Stella was listed in the Port Chester City Directory in 1912. She was a clerk, living at 7 Bush Avenue, Port Chester, Westchester County, New York StateG, with her father Charles E Sackett.4
     In 1930 Stella was living at Summer Street, Stamford, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, in the household of her husband Charles Roberts, 47, proprietor of a plumbing supplies company, and was recorded in the census as Stella S Roberts, aged 39. Living with them were their children, Irving, 16, and Earle, 13, and Stella's widowed mother Amelia Sackett, 71.5
     In 1940 she was living in StamfordG in the household of her husband Charles Roberte, 56, a laborer at a plumbing supply company, and was recorded as Stella Roberte, a packer in a razor company, aged 50. Her widowed mother Amelia Sackett, 80, was living with them.6
