Julia Lee, daughter of Captain Charles Lee and Margaret "Peggy" Sacket, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in about July 1818.1 She died aged 78 in WestfieldG on 19 February 1897.2 She married in WestfieldG on 25 January 1840, Eber Atwater Eggleston.3
     In 1860 Julia was living in WestfieldG in the household of her husband Atwater Egleston, 40, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Julia Egleston, aged 41. Their daughter Nellie, aged four, was living with them. Also in the household were Julia's unmarried sister, Mary Lee, 54, and their mother Margaret Lee, 84.4
