George Franklin McKay, son of Albert Alphonse McKay and Sarah Brooks Cox, was born in Staplehurst, Seward County, NebraskaG, on 2 November 1883.1 He died aged 70 in Kent, Sherman County, OregonG, on 30 September 1954 and was buried at Kent IOOF CemeteryG.1 He married Emma Ophelia Carson.2
