Edward Alexander Sackett, son of George A Sacket and Harriet Canfield, was born in New York StateG in 1847.1,2 He married Sallie Rankin.1
     In 1850 Edward was living in Hounsfield, Jefferson County, New York StateG, in the household of his father George and stepmother Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Edward Sackett, aged four and born in New York.3
     In 1860 he was living in Chicago, IllinoisG, in the household of his father George and stepmother Eliza, and was recorded as Edward Sackett, aged 13.4

2021. Edward Alexander Sacket, 1847–, of Sacketts Harbor, N. Y., and Denver, Col., son of (786) George A. and Harriet Canfield Sackett, was married, in 1870, to Sarah E. J. Rankin, who was born in Stuart's Draft, Virginia. Mr. Sacket in 1907 was an importer and manufacturers' representative, with headquarters at Denver, Col.
