George Beckwith Sacket, son of Edward Sacket and Cornelia E Beckwith, was born in New York StateG on 7 June 1849.1,2 He died aged 44 on 30 May 1894.1 He married Elma Christina Dunham.1
     In 1850 George was living in Hounsfield, Jefferson County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Edward and Cornelia, and was recorded in the census as George B Sackett, aged one and born in New York.3
     In 1860 he was living in Chicago, Cook County, IllinoisG, in the household of his father Edward and stepmother Louisa, and was recorded as George Sacket, aged eleven.4

2017. George Beckwith Sacket, 1849–1894, son of (783) Edward and Cornelia Beckwith Sacket, was married to Alma Christina Dunham. He was a banker at Berlin, Wis., and the founder of The First National Bank of that city. He died without issue, but had an adopted son named George Carlton Sackett, who was born in 1886.
