James H Sackett, son of Maurice Sackett and Catherine Flynn, was born in IrelandG in November 1861.1 He died before June 1925 when his wife died a widow. He married at Blackstone, Worcester County, MassachusettsG, on 26 October 1897, Mary A Bowen, daughter of Michael Bowen and Catherine McGuire.2 Mary was born in Providence, Rhode IslandG, in February 1870.1,3 She died there on 9 June 19254 and was buried at St Patrick's Cemetery, ProvidenceG.5
     In 1900 he was living at Providence, Rhode IslandG, and was recorded as James A Sackett, a sign painter, head of household, aged 38. His wife Mary, 30, was living with him.6
