Jackson Sackett, farmer of Wolcott, Lamoille County, Vermont, son of Edward Sackett and Nancy Sloan, was born in Milton, Chittenden County, VermontG, in about 1852.1,2 He married in WolcottG on 31 October 1874, Sarah A Russ, daughter of Harvey Russ and Hannah Sparks.3 Sarah was born in Craftsbury, Orleans County, VermontG, in about 1851.1 They divorced before 1910.4
     In 1870 Jackson was living in MiltonG in the household of his mother Nancy, and was recorded in the census as Jackson Sackett, a farm laborer, aged 17 and born in Vermont.5
     In 1910 he was living in Westford, Middlesex County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded as Jackson, section man on the railroad, aged 56, divorced. He was living in a boarding house.6
