George Castor Sackett Jr, son of George Castor Sackett Sr and Edna I Mutch, was born in Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaG, on 22 May 1920.1,2 He died aged 75 on 16 February 19963,4,5 and was buried at Rosedale Memorial Cemetery, Bensalem, Bucks County, PennsylvaniaG.6 He married at Wilmington, New Castle County, DelawareG, on 22 August 1942, Olive Constantine, daughter of Willis Constantine and Edith ___.7 Olive was born in PennsylvaniaG on 28 May 1923.2 She died aged 87 on 27 November 2010.8
     In 1930 George was living at 5th Street, PhiladelphiaG, in the household of his parents George and Edna, and was recorded in the census as George Sackett, aged nine and born in Pennsylvania.9
     George completed a World War II draft registration card in PhiladelphiaG in 1941.10
     George served in the US Navy Coast Guard during the Second World War, enlisting on 15 October 1941 and being discharged on 17 June 1946.1
