Charles Clark Sackett, son of Deacon Hiram Akins Sackett and Eliza Anna Treat, was born in Tallmadge, Summit County, OhioG, on 15 January 1859.1 He died there aged 84 on 24 February 1943.2 He married in Summit CountyG on 21 October 1884, Cora Blanche Alling.1 Cora was born in TallmadgeG on 25 May 18602 and died aged 92 at 1846 5th Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Summit CountyG, on 22 December 1952.2
In 1860 Charles was living in TallmadgeG in the household of his parents Hiram and Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Charles Sackett, aged one and born in Ohio.3
In 1870 Charles was living in TallmadgeG in the household of his parents Hiram and Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Charles C Sacket, aged eleven.4
In 1880 he was living in TallmadgeG in the household of his parents Hiram and Eliza, and was recorded as Charles C Sacket, aged 21.5
In 1900 he was living in TallmadgeG and was recorded as Charles C Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 41. Charles was also the census enumerator for his district. Living with him were his wife Cora, 40, their children, Claude, 14, Francis, 10, Hazel, 7, and Alfred, aged two, and Charles's nephew Arthur Sackett, aged twelve. There were also four boarders in the household.6
