Franklin Elisha "Frank" Sackett, son of Caleb Ward Sackett and Clarissa Swartwood, was born in 28 East Water Street, Elmira, Chemung County, New York StateG, on 22 July 1855.1,2 He married on 5 November 1878, Emma M Brown.1
Frank stood for election in September 1900 as the Democratic nominee for Chemung county treasurer. He was at that time the note clerk at the Chemung Canal bank.
