Henrietta Sacofsky/Sackett, daughter of Harris Sacofsky/Sackett and Irene ___, was born in RussiaG on 27 September 1896.1,2,3 She died aged 89 in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 13 October 19854,5 and was buried at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, FairfieldG.6 She married in about 1914, Norman Edward Postol.7 Norman was born in Odessa, UkraineG, on 22 October 18928 and died aged 65 in Bridgeport, ConnecticutG, on 15 June 1958.8
In 1905 Henrietta was living at Christopher Avenue, Brooklyn, New York CityG, in the household of her parents Harris and Ida, and was recorded in the census as Yetta Sacofsky, a schoolgirl, aged nine and born in Russia.9
In 1910 she was living at Beardsley Street, Bridgeport, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, in the household of her parents Harris and Irene, and was recorded as Henrietta Sackett, aged 14.10
In 1920 she was living at French Street, Bridgeport, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, in the household of her husband Norman Postol, 27, a grocery store owner, and was recorded as Henrietta Postol, aged 24. Living with them were their children, Hildah, 4, and Sydney, aged two. They were living next door to Henrietta's mother.11
In 1930 she was living at Garfield Avenue, BridgeportG, in the household of her husband Norman, 37, a coffee salesman, and was recorded as Henrietta Postol, aged 34. Living with them were their chiildren, Hilda, 14, Sydney, 11, Rosalind, 10, Natalie, 7, and Earle, aged two. They owned their home. They were living next door to Henrietta's mother Irene.12
In 1940 she was living at Capital Avenue, BridgeportG, in the household of her husband Norman, 47, owner of a retail meat market, and was recorded as Henrietta Postol, aged 44. Living with them were their children, Hilda, 24, Sidney, 21, Roslyn, 20, Natalie, 17, and Earl, aged twelve, and Henrietta's mother Irene, aged 66.13
