Wheeler Syers, son of David Alexander Syers and Louisa Sackett, was born in MichiganG in about 1861.1
     In 1870 Wheeler was living in Jamestown, Ottawa County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents Alexander and Louisa, and was recorded in the census as Wheeler Syers, aged nine and born in Michigan.2
