Gerald Archer Sackett, son of William Harvy Sackett and Harriet M "Hattie" Lytle, was born in Saegertown, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, on 17 May 1904.1 He died by suicide aged 48 in Crawford CountyG on 12 August 19522,3,4 and was buried at Saegertown CemeteryG.5 He married in Ripley, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, on 6 August 1935, Ruth Margaret Watson, daughter of Thomas S Watson and Bertha M Glunt.6 Ruth was born in Turtle Creek, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG, on 6 February 1911.1 She died aged 94 in SaegertownG on 24 October 20057,8 and was buried at Saegertown CemeteryG.5
     In 1910 Gerald was living at Euclid Avenue, Saegertown, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents William and Hattie, and was recorded in the census as Gerald Sackett, aged five and born in Pennsylvania.9
     In 1920 he was living at Euclid Avenue, SaegertownG, in the household of his parents William and Hattie, and was recorded as Gerald Sackett, aged 14 [actually 15].10
     In 1930 he was living at Euclid Avenue, SaegertownG, in the household of his parents William and Hattie, and was recorded as Gerald Sackett, a machinist, unmarried, aged 24.11
     Gerald completed a World War II draft registration card in 1940. He was aged 35 and was living in Meadville, Crawford CountyG, with his wife Ruth.12
