Frederick Arthur Miles, son of Vincent William Miles and Ellen Sackett, was born in South Kensington, LondonG, on 20 October 1887.1,2,3 He died aged 84 in Chelsea, LondonG, in 1972.4 He married in Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, LondonG, on 23 March 1913, Eliza Norton, daughter of William Henry Norton.5 Eliza was born in about 1889.6
     In 1901 Frederick was living at 54 Yeomans Row, Brompton, Kensington, LondonG, in the household of his parents Vincent and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as Frederick A Miles, an errand boy, aged 13 and born in South Kensington.7
     In 1911 he was living at 54 Yeomans Row, Brompton, Kensington, LondonG, in the household of his widowed mother Ellen, and was recorded as Frederick Miles, a clerk in a book publishers, single, aged 23.8
