John Sackett, son of Jonathan Sackett and ___ ___, was born, presumably in New Haven County, ConnecticutG, in say 1770.1 He married first Sarah Terrill, daughter of Phineas Terrill and Mary Johnson.1 Sarah was born in about 1773.1 She died aged 21 in Bethany, New Haven County, ConnecticutG, on 12 January 1794.1 He married second Mary (Wheeler) Briscoe, daughter of James Wheeler and Mary Clark.1 Mary was born in Derby, New Haven CountyG, on 4 February 1768.1 She died aged 86 in BethanyG on 11 September 1854.1
     John was listed in the 1800 census as a householder in Woodbridge, New Haven CountyG.2
