Donald Arnold Sackett, son of Harvey Orin Sackett and Minnie Adelaide Rice, was born in Hallstead, Susquehanna County, PennsylvaniaG, on 24 December 18991 and baptized at First Presbyterian Church, HallsteadG, on 7 September 1901.2 He died aged 57 in Great Bend, Susquehanna CountyG, on 15 February 1957.1 He married Mattie L Preston.1
     Donald completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was then aged 19 and was living at Hallstead, PennsylvaniaG. He was employed as a laborer in a chamois factory at Freux Bend, Susquehanna County. He was recorded on the draft as Donald Albert although he had been baptized Donald Arnold.3
