Harriet Joad Sackett, daughter of George Sackett and Louisa Maria Haysom, was born in Shoreditch, MiddlesexG, on 5 March 18521,2 and baptized at Hoxton Christ Church, MiddlesexG, on 10 July 1853.3 She married at St John the Baptist, Hoxton, MiddlesexG, on 16 April 1876, James Henry Booth, son of William Booth.4,5
     In 1861 Harriet was living at 7 Francis Place, Poole Street, Shoreditch, MiddlesexG, in the household of her parents George and Louisa, and was recorded in the census as Harriet Sackett, a scholar, aged nine and born in Hoxton, Middlesex.6
