Enoch Sackett, son of Reuben Sackett and ___ ___, was born in VermontG between 1760 and 1765.1 He married in about 1800, Rachel ___.2
     Enoch served in the American Revolutionary War. He was a member of a guard over prisoners in Bennington in August 1781. On 6 September 1781 he was a soldier in Governor Chittenden's Life Guard, Vermont Militia. The Vermont Revolutionary War records also include Reuben Sackett's service, identifying him as Enoch's father.3,4
     Enoch was listed in the 1800 census as a householder in Pottstown, Luzerne County, PennsylvaniaG.5 In 1810 he was a householder in Ulysses, Seneca County, New York StateG.6 In 1820 he was a householder in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, IndianaG.7 In 1830 and 1840 he was a householder in Logan, Dearborn CountyG.8,9
