Esther Sackett, daughter of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Eldon, Victoria County, Ontario, CanadaG, on 20 July 1876.1 She married in Fenelon Falls, Victoria CountyG, on 18 October 1898, Thomas Boice, son of Lewis Boice and Hannah Drake.2 Thomas was born in Fenelon FallsG in about 1870.3
In 1881 Esther was living in Thorah, OntarioG, in the household of her parents Abraham and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as Isabella {ITAL:]sic] Sackett, aged four and born in Ontario. (The recording of her in the census as Isabella would appear to have been an error.)4
In 1891 she was living in Beaverton, OntarioG, in the household of her widowed father Abraham, and was recorded as Ester Sacket, aged 15 and born in Ontario.5
