Louisa Maria Sackett, daughter of George Sackett and Louisa Maria Haysom, was born in Shoreditch, MiddlesexG, in 1862.1 She died aged 74 at Shenley Hospital, HertfordshireG, on 5 October 1936.2,3 She was unmarried.
In 1871 Louisa was living at 7 Frances Place, ShoreditchG, in the household of her widowed mother Louisa, and was recorded in the census as Louisa Sackett, a scholar, aged nine and born in Shoreditch.4
In 1881 she was living at 11 Francis Place, Hoxton Old Town, MiddlesexG, in the household of her widowed mother Louisa, and was recorded as Louisa Sackett, a shipper?, single, aged 18.5
In 1901 she was living at 30 Cecile Park, Hornsey, MiddlesexG, in the household of James Syms, 68, a solicitors' managing clerk, and family, and was recorded as Louisa M Sackett, a domestic servant, single, aged 39 and born in Islington.6
In 1911 she was living at Martley, Station Road, Hendon, MiddlesexG, in the household of Emily Goode, 68, a spinster, and was recorded as Louisa Sackett, servant, a cook, aged 50 and born in Hoxton.7
Louisa left a will which was proved on 21 October 1936 by Edith Tyrer. Her estate was valued at £105. Louisa and Edith had worked together as domestic servants.8
