George Sackett, of St Peter in Thanet, Kent, was born in the early 1600s. His parents have not been identified. He married in about 1638, Jane ___.1
It would appear that there were two George Sacketts in Thanet at this time. It may be assumed that they were not the same man as the marriage of this George Sackett to Jane, in about 1638, took place during the lifetime of the other George Sackett's wife Susanna, who died in 1646.
