     In 1880 Richard was living in SpringfieldG in the household of his parents Edward and Adella, and was recorded in the census as Richard J Sackett, aged three and born in Massachusetts.3
     Richard completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 42 and was living at Main Street, Wilbraham, Hampden CountyG, with his wife Edith. He was general manager of The Cutter Company of North Wilbraham.4
