Lillian Ann Sackett, daughter of James William Sackett and Louisa Mary Ann Edwards, was born in Barking, EssexG, on 15 March 18971,2 and baptized at St Margaret, BarkingG, on 8 April 1897.3 She married at St Andrew, Eastbourne, SussexG, on 5 May 1934, Albert Edward Manville, son of Charles John Manville.4,5
In 1901 Lillian was living at 40 Creekmouth, St Margaret's, Barking, EssexG, in the household of her widowed mother Louisa, and was recorded in the census as Lily A Sackett, aged four, and born in Barking.6
In 1921 she was living at Greatfield House, Howard Road, BarkingG, in the household of her uncle William Ernest Blaxland, 50, a house decorator, and was recorded as Lillian Sackett, a chemicals worker, aged 24, single.7
