Henry William Sackett, son of James William Sackett and Louisa Mary Ann Edwards, was born in Barking, EssexG, in 18951,2 and baptized there on 25 October 1895.3 He died in IraqG on 25 January 19174,5 and was buried at the Amara War Cemetery, Iraq.4
     In 1901 Henry was living at 40 Creekmouth, St Margaret's, Dagenham, EssexG, in the household of his widowed mother Louisa, and was recorded in the census as William H Sackett, aged five and born in Barking.6
     Henry Sackett enlisted in the First World War in the Wiltshire Regiment, serving as a Private. He was killed in action in Iraq.
