Jesse Elmer Sackett, son of Charles Wesley Sackett and Ellen V Emery, was born in Pittsfield, IllinoisG, on 25 October 1889. He died in Pekin, Tazewell County, IllinoisG. He married at Havana, IllinoisG, on 15 August 1914, Laura Edith Perkins.
     Jesse completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was aged 27, married with two children, and was living in Forest City, Mason County, IllinoisG. He was employed as a section foreman on the railroad.2
