Alice Sarah Sackett, daughter of Oliver Benjamin Sackett and Matilda Rosemond Anderson, was born in Leelanau County, MichiganG, on 3 October 1876.1 She died in Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, MichiganG, on 9 August 1957.1 She married at Kewadin, Milton Township, Antrim County, MichiganG, on 29 September 1897, Chester Gilbert Barnes.1 Chester was born in Myrtle, Ontario, CanadaG, on 29 January 1867. He died in Milton TownshipG on 16 April 1951.
     In 1880 Alice was living at Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, MichiganG, and was recorded in the census as Alace Sackett, aged four and born in Michigan, daughter of Oliver B Sackett.2
