Rachel Sackett, daughter of Joseph S Sackett and Sarah Vansant, was born probably in Wrightstown, Bucks County, PennsylvaniaG, on 28 February 1750.1 She died aged 57 on 17 September 1807 and was buried at the Old School Baptist Meeting House Cemetery, Southampton, Bucks CountyG.2 She married in Newtown, Bucks CountyG, on 30 November 1774, Joshua Dungan.3 Joshua was born in WrightstownG in about 1746.1 He died aged 83 in Bucks CountyG on 1 November 1829 and was buried at the Old School Baptist Meeting House Cemetery, SouthamptonG.2
     Rachel was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made in Wrightstown, Bucks County, PennsylvaniaG, on 21 October 1793.4
     In 1798 Joshua and Rachel were living in the house in WrightstownG formerly occupied by Rachel's father who had died earlier that year. The house formed part of her father's estate.5,6
