Clair Eugene Sackett, son of Herman Eugene Sackett and Celinda Esther Greene, was born in PennsylvaniaG on 6 February 1918.1,2 He died aged 75 on 22 February 19933 and was buried at the Arlington National Cemetery, VirginiaG.4,5 He married Edith Y ___.6 Edith was born on 8 March 1924.6 She died on 3 January 19736 and was buried at the Arlington National CemeteryG.6,7
     In 1920 Clair was living at Union Township, Broome County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Herman and Celinda, and was recorded in the census as Clair Sackett, aged one year ten months and born in Pennsylvania.8
     In 1930 he was living at Evergreen Street, Endicott Village, Broome County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Herman and Celinda, and was recorded as Clair Sackett, aged 12 and born in Pennsylvania.9
     Clair served in the US Air Force during the Second World War and in the Korean War.6,10,11
