In 1911 he was living at 46 Shirley Street, HoveG, in the household of his widowed father John, and was recorded as Frederick Sackett, working in his father's greengrocery business, single, aged 24 and born in Hove.7
Frederick served in the British Army during the First World War in the Labour Corps. He was awarded the Victory Medal and the British Medal in recognition of active service overseas.8,9
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Frederick was living at 37 Shirley Street, Hove, SussexG, with his brother George. They ran a greengrocery shop.10
Administration of Frederick's estate was granted on 10 December 1956 to his brothers Alfred and George. His estate was valued at £800.11
