Alice Sackett, daughter of John Andrew Sackett and Emma Booth, was born in Hove, Steyning, SussexG, in 18761 and baptized at St Andrew, HoveG, on 11 June 1876.2 She died aged 60 in East Sussex County Mental Hospital, Hellingly, SussexG, on 26 February 1937.3,4 She was unmarried.
In 1881 Alice was living at 62 Shirley Street, Hove, SussexG, in the household of her parents John and Emma, and was recorded in the census as Alice Sackett, a scholar, aged five and born in Hove.5
In 1891 she was living at 46 Shirley Street, HoveG, in the household of her parents John and Emma, and was recorded as Alice Sackett, aged 15 and born in West Brighton.6
In 1901 Alice was living at 46 Shirley Street, HoveG, in the household of her widowed father John, a greengrocer, and was recorded in the census as Alice Sackett, at home, single, aged 25 and born in Hove.7
In 1911 she was living at 46 Shirley Street, HoveG, in the household of her widowed father John, and was recorded as Alice Sackett, single, aged 35 and born in Hove.8
Alice died intestate. Administration of her estate was granted on 24 March 1938 to the Public Trustee. Her estate was valued at £1,631.9
