Rhea Lansing Adams Sr, son of Berkley Dickenson Adams and Beatrice Nan "Bee" Sackett, was born in Richmond, VirginiaG, on 11 August 1924.1 He died aged about 71 in 1995.1 He married on 9 February 1946, Lucy Nelson Broocks.1 Lucy was born in Chase City, VirginiaG, on 10 October 1925.1 She died aged about 71 in 1996.1
     In 1930 Rhea was living at Bacon, Charlotte County, VirginiaG, in the household of his parents Berkley and Beatrice, and was recorded in the census as Rhea L Adams, aged six and born in Virginia.2
