Blanche Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of Edward Elgar Sackett and Maria Banta, was born in Edgewater, Bergen County, New JerseyG, on 13 September 1888.1,2 She died aged 97 on 14 February 1986.1 Blanche was unmarried.1
Blanche travelled to England in 1923, staying in London at Claridges Hotel. She arrived in Southampton from New York on the Majestic on 7 September 1923.3 She visited England again, arriving in Southampton from New York on the Homeric on 25 July 1925.4
