Samantha Sackett, daughter of Colonel Niram Sackett and Catherine Thorn, was born in Irving, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, on 28 September 1833.1,2 She died aged 62 on 21 December 1895.2 She married at Irving, New York StateG, on 8 August 1861, Edward R Stiles.3,2
     In 1860 Samantha was living in Irving, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in the household of her parents Niram and Catharine, and was recorded in the census as Semantha Sackett, aged 27 and born in New York.4
