Lucile Maria Gibbs, daughter of George DeForest Gibbs and Ida Elizabeth Sackett, was born in OhioG on 26 August 1896.1,2 She married first Manuel Fairchilds. They divorced. She married second in Lucas County, OhioG, on 24 May 1925, Earl J Barber, son of D H Barber and Elsa Tillotson.3 Earl was born on 19 December 1885.4
     In 1900 Lucile was living in New Lyme, OhioG, in the household of her parents DeForest and Ida, and was recorded in the census as Lucile M Gibbs, aged three and born in Ohio.5
     In 1910 she was living in New LymeG in the household of her father George and stepmother Densie, and was recorded as Lucile M Gibbs, aged 13.6
