Sylvester McKay, son of Alexander McKay and Mary Sackett, was born in Oblong, Dutchess County, New York StateG, on 2 August 1761.1 He died aged 42 in Union, Chanango County, New York StateG, on 2 April 1804.2,1 He married at New Preston, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, on 13 September 1782, Elizabeth Bostwick.3
