Eliza Ann Sackett, daughter of Thomas Sackett and Martha Setterfield, was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 16 January 1831.1 She married at St John in ThanetG on 26 October 1851, William Grant, a mariner, son of Richard Grant.2,3
     In 1841 Eliza was living at King Street, St John, Margate, KentG, in the household of her parents Thomas and Martha, and was recorded in the census as Eliza Sackett, aged 10 and born in Kent.4
