Albert Henry Sackett, son of Robert Sackett and Laura Jane Smith, was born in New York StateG on 16 May 1846.1,2,3 He died aged 81 in Bergen, Genesee County, New York StateG, on 25 September 19274 and was buried at Mount Albion Cemetery, Albion, Orleans County, New York StateG.5 He married on 2 November 1871, Ida May Snyder, daughter of Marvin Snyder and Electa Coleman.1 Ida was born in Albion, Orleans County, New York StateG, in May 1855.6,3 She died aged 64 at home near Fancher, Orleans CountyG, on 6 February 1920 and was buried at Mount Albion Cemetery, Albion, Orleans CountyG.6
     In 1850 Albert was living in Pittsford, Monroe County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Robert and Laura, and was recorded in the census as Albert Sacket, aged three and born in New York.7
     In 1860 Albert was living in Eckford, Calhoun County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents Robert and Laura, and was recorded in the census as Albert H Sacket, aged 14.8
     In 1870 he was living in EckfordG in the household of his parents Robert and Laura, and was recorded as Albert Sackett, a farm laborer, aged 24.9
     In 1880 Albert was living in Murray, Orleans County, New York StateG, and was recorded in the census as Albert H Sacket, a produce merchant, head of household, aged 34. Living with him were his wife, Ida, 25, and their children, Leonard, 7, Robert, 2, and an unnamed daughter, aged one month.10
     In 1900 he was living in MurrayG in the household of his parents-in-law, Marvin and Electa Snyder, and was recorded as Albert H Sackett, a commission agent, aged 54. His wife Ida, 45, and their daughter Gertrude, 20, were living with him.11
     In 1910 he was living in MurrayG and was recorded as Albert Henry Sackett, a farmer, aged 63. He and his wife Ida May, 54, were living in the household of Ida's widowed father Marvin Snyder, aged 90.12
     In 1920 he was living at Salisbury Road, MurrayG, and was recorded as Albert Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 73. He owned his home. His wife Ida, 64, was living with him.13

Mrs. Ida May Sackett.
Albion, Feb. 6.—The funeral of Mrs. Ida May Sackett, who died yesterday at the family farm home on state trunk line route No. 30, four miles east of Fancher, will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. William A. Harris of the M. E. church, Albion, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Albion cemetery. Mrs. Sackett was born in Albion 64 years ago and lived most of her life in this vicinity. She was a member of tbe Methodist church in Albion. She is survived by her husband, Albert H. Sackett; a daughter, Mrs. William J. Davey of Bergen, and a son, Leonard M. Sackett of Geneseo.

Bergen, Sept. 28.—Funeral services for Albert H. Sackett, 81, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. Davy, wife of Postmaster W. H. Davy of this place, took place this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home with Rev. A. E. Bloomfield, of the Methodist Episcopal Church of this village officiating. He was a member of the Bergen Grange. Sackett leaves, besides his daughter, one son, Leonard M. Sackett, of Geneseo; three brothers, Robert E. of Chicago, Lewis D. of Marshall, Mich., and Fred S. of Richfield, Mich; one sister, Mrs. J. G. Ruoff of East Bakersfield, Calif. Burial in Mt. Albion cemetery at Albion. Sackett had been a resident of this vicinity for over fifty-six years.
