Hubert Day, son of John Day and Ann Cornelia Sackett, was born on 11 August 1844.1,2 He married on 26 November 1878, Ann Louise Chambers.1
     In 1850 Hubert was living in Sheffield, Lorain County, OhioG, in the household of his parents John and Cornelia, and was recorded in the census as Hubert Day, aged six and born in Ohio.3
