In 1901 she was living at 7 Effingham Street, Ramsgate, KentG, in the household of her parents George and Caroline, and was recorded as Emily J Sackett, a dressmaker's improver, aged 17 and born in Ramsgate.7
In 1911 she was living at 30 Camden Square, RamsgateG, in the household of her parents George and Caroline, and was recorded as Emily Sackett, a dressmaker, single, aged 27 and born in Ramsgate.8
