Eliza Martha Sackett, daughter of Edward John Sackett and Eliza Vincent, was born in Bermondsey, SurreyG, in 18591 and baptized at St Giles Church, Camberwell, SurreyG, on 2 October 1859.2 She married at St Luke's Church, Deptford, KentG, on 8 May 1881, Joseph William Jackson, son of Charles Jackson.3,4 Joseph was born in about 1859.
     In 1881 Eliza was living at 14 Prospect Place, Rotherhithe, SurreyG, in the household of her mother Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Eliza M Sackett, a machinist, unmarried, aged 20 and born in Southwark, Surrey.5
