Doris May Sackett, daughter of Gilbert "Bertie" Sackett and Mabel Agnes Dawson, was born in Ramsgate, KentG, on 13 September 1903.1,2,3,4 She died there aged 85 on 6 August 1989.5,6 She married on 16 January 1947, George Jarvis.5
     In 1911 Doris was living at 8 Salisbury Avenue, RamsgateG, in the household of her parents Gilbert and Mabel, and was recorded in the census as Doris May Sackett, aged seven and born in Ramsgate.7
     In 1921 she was living at 8 Salisbury Avenue, RamsgateG, in the household of her parents Gilbert and Mabel, and was recorded as Doris May Sackett, a dressmaker, aged 17.8
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Doris living at 21 South Eastern Road, RamsgateG, and was housekeeper in the household of Martha Roser.9
     Doris proved her mother Mabel's will on 5 October 1945. Her estate was valued at £520.10
