Harold Stanley Sandford, son of Rev Henry Stanley Sandford and Sarah Annie "Daisy" Sackett, was born in Burley in Wharfedale, YorkshireG, on 27 December 1903.1,2 He died aged 87 in Chesterfield, DerbyshireG, in 1991.3 He married in Sheffield, YorkshireG, in 1936, Alice Hornbuckle.4,5
     In 1911 Harold was living at Saintesbury, 2 Buchanan Street, Ramsbottom, LancashireG, in the household of his parents Henry and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as Harold Stanley Sandford, aged seven and born in Burley in Wharfedale.6
