Blanche Edith Sackett, daughter of Rev Benjamin Sackett and Elizabeth Lee, was born in Brentford, MiddlesexG, in 1871.1 She died aged 88 in EssexG in 1959.2 She married at St George in the East, LondonG, in 1895, James Baylis.3 James was born on 9 December 18704 and died aged 52 on 24 August 1923.4
     In 1881 Blanche was living at 7 Trinity Terrace, Stepney, MiddlesexG, and was recorded in the census as Blanche E Sackett, aged 9 and born at Heston, Middlesex, the daughter of Benjamin Sackett.5
     In 1891 she was living at 14 Albert Square, StepneyG, and was recorded as Blanche E Sackett, aged 19 and born in Heston, the daughter of Benjamin Sackett.6
     In 1911 she was living at 4 Ye Market, Selsdon Road, South Croydon, SurreyG, in the household of her husband James, 40, an oil and colorman, and was recorded as Blanche Edith Baylis, aged 39 and born in Langford, Oxfordshire. Living with them were their children, James, 14, Cyril, 13, Blanche, 10, Hilda, 8, Winifred, 7, and Elsie, aged three.7
